Water Experience Team Member
Liquid Glow is hiring a team member to assist with morning clear kayak tours, night kayak tours, and electric surfboard/e-foil experiences in Anguilla.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on water-based support role. The position includes preparing equipment, assisting with guest setup, helping with tour operations, supporting e-foil sessions, and resetting the area after tours.
Work Hours
Hours may vary within the time slots below depending on bookings, guest count, and the tour schedule.
- Morning tours and e-foil support: generally within 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Evening and night tours: generally within 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
- Morning kayak tours: typically last about 2 hours.
- Evening/night kayak tours: typically last about 1 hour.
- There is usually 1 morning tour and up to 2 evening/night tours, depending on bookings.
- Weekend and busy visitor-day availability may be needed.
Pay
This position pays $40 per tour, plus gratuities. This is a tour-based role, so total daily pay depends on the number of scheduled tours and guest bookings.
A typical scheduled day may include 1 morning tour and up to 2 evening/night tours, but this can change based on demand.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare clear kayaks, paddles, life jackets, glow lights, and other tour equipment.
- Assist guests with life jackets, paddles, kayak entry, and basic setup before tours.
- Help guides with launching and returning kayaks.
- Assist with night tour equipment setup and cleanup.
- Support electric surfboard/e-foil sessions with setup, board handling, and equipment organization.
- Rinse, clean, move, and store equipment after tours.
- Help keep the tour area organized before and after each booking.
Tour Areas You May Support
- Morning Clear Kayak Tours: kayak setup, guest preparation, launch support, and post-tour reset.
- Night Kayak Tours: glow equipment, evening setup, guest setup, kayak handling, and cleanup.
- E-Foil Experiences: electric surfboard setup, equipment movement, board preparation, and session support.
Helpful Experience
Experience is helpful, but training can be provided for the right person.
- Kayaking, boating, swimming, or watersports experience.
- Experience working around the beach, boats, or water equipment.
- Tour, hospitality, or guest-facing work experience.
- Comfort with lifting, carrying, rinsing, and organizing outdoor equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors around sun, sand, salt water, and changing conditions.
- Ability to help move kayaks, boards, paddles, life jackets, lights, and other equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, carry, rinse, and organize gear during setup and cleanup.
